Marco Rubio was the darling of the Tea Party. Marco Rubio was elected as a Tea Party conservative Republican. Marco Rubio was sent to Washington clearly with the belief that he was part of a new conservative majority that was not tied to the establishment.
In fact, anybody else who hears this [speech of Donald Trump in Philadelphia] is probably gonna be dutifully impressed with Trump\'s comportment, his presentation, his knowledge of this, and his temperament here. It\'s all a great package and looks good.
[T]his is another reason why the children of illegals are sought for public schools: They\'ll put up with it. The children of illegals will put up with these dilapidated schools because for them, it is a huge step up. And these schools become little indoctrination centers for the children of illegal immigrants, as they are brainwashed and programmed to become Democrats as adults.
I\'ve learned from my experience that desire is 80% of achievement. That if you really, really want something, if you really, really, really want to do something, that the vast majority of achieving it is wanting it. I mean, really wanting it. Not a preference, and not, \"Gee, I hope this.\" I mean really wanting it. It is the desire that makes you do what you have to do to achieve.
Do you realize how many people of this country have been educated, have grown up, who have been taught that, yeah, we\'re at risk and there\'s a lot of people that want to blow us up and don\'t like us. But we are to blame. That\'s what they\'ve been taught. We are to blame, \'cause there was slavery, because we\'ve stolen all these goods and resources from other countries. We have imposed our way of life on them! We\'ve sent our military around, and we\'ve conducted wars on their territory and so forth.
Regarding Ronald Reagan: In point of fact, the image of Ronald Reagan, the man responsible for shaping that decade (the 1980s), should be carved into Mount Rushmore, minted into coins, and emblazoned in a place of honor in every school child\'s history text as a constant reminder of this great man\'s contributions to world freedom, national pride, and individual prosperity. With the truth, the term \'Reaganomics\' will be used only as a term of endearment and respect.
The power of branding, particularly when it comes to automobiles, is overwhelming. You go back to the seventies and eighties with the General Motor situation I was describing? Literally, folks, the Camaro and Firebird were identical cars but you\'d so have the Firebird buyers, the Pontiacs, \"No way I\'m I buying that Camaro!\" \" It\'s the same car.\" \"Nooooo, it is not. That is a Chevy and mine is a Pontiac.\"
I think there\'s something remarkable happening here that nobody is talking about. They\'re skirting the issue. For the longest time, the Republican Party has told us that they can\'t win with just Republican votes. And that\'s why they support amnesty. That\'s why they support the Democrats on many of their issues to go out and get Hispanics or other minorities.
Liberals, communists, socialists, look at people as workers. They look at \'em as ants, worker ants, worker bees and so forth, and they just plug \'em in to do jobs that need to be done.
I\'m a big believer in going on offense, and I think Hillary Clinton is the ideal target on whom to go on offense.
I\'ve had people say, \"You know, this \'Hope and Change\' business, Rush, it\'s just as dangerous as, \'Make America Great Again,\' all the specifics.\" And what you\'re really saying - even though you didn\'t voice this - is Barack Obama ended up being an authoritarian. He ended up being supported as an authoritarian because his wacko base wanted that stuff done - i.e., they wanted conservatives humiliated and defeated and ticked off and mad and losing everything, and they didn\'t care how Obama did.
When you as an American have freedom, the freedom encompasses a lot of things, including the right to do dumb stuff, to do destructive things. You have that right, and liberals somehow, for some reason want to just take control of every aspect of your life as possible, and every time you accede to letting them have it, or big government - you\'re just letting them have more and more control over your life. Where do you stop that? What\'s wrong with people regulating themselves? Where did that vanish to?
When you\'re a victim, you automatically have a built-in excuse for failure. When you are a victim, it\'s always somebody else\'s fault. When you\'re a victim, success is not possible. When you are a victim of something, you are acknowledging that you are as far as you\'re gonna get, and you can\'t get any further, because there are more powerful forces arrayed against you than the force of yourself against it.
I mean a global warming advocate is as wrong as anybody could be about anything, folks. It\'s a hoax. There is no man-made global warming. It has been thoroughly debunked. The fact that it\'s a hoax has been proven, by them. E-mails that were uncovered at East Anglia University in Great Britain show that they worked together to perpetuate the hoax, that they lied about data, that they eliminate data that contradicted their political belief. So you\'d have to assume from that that they are political advocates disguised as scientists who are purposely engaging in misinformation.
If the popular vote elected the president today, two states - California and New York - would be all you would need. And that means campaigns would occur only there and campaigns would focus only on issues relevant to those people in those states.
I think Hillary Clinton is vulnerable, she is not liked, she is not overwhelmingly popular.
My point, they [Trump\'s followers] still don\'t care. They\'re going to stick with him no matter what.
When you get down to the meat and potatoes of genuine capitalism, it is cutthroat, vicious competition, and the consumer always benefits in the end.
I pointed out that men, society looks at aging men and say they get more distinguished; some say they get more handsome, more authoritative, and so forth. I said it\'s unfair. It\'s the way it works. It\'s sadly not that was the when women age. Sadly.
[Donald] Trump is the only Republican candidate in the last seven cycles to understand all three legs of the foreign policy stool - the three crucial elements of our foreign policy, what they need to be - and they are trade, war, and immigration.
So 2000 to 2008 probably is the last time we had leadership in Washington with any power which had the belief that America is the solution to problems in the world/ America always has been. We\'ve got some things wrong but our motivations and interests have always been aboveboard.
If you\'re a victim, you\'re not happy. You can\'t be happy. It\'s impossible to be happy. It\'s even difficult to be content.
The prevent defense prevents victory.
I have made mention of something I\'ve found incredible a lot of times. I\'m gonna remind you of it again. A TIME magazine cover back in the mid-1990s. The cover story on that issue of TIME magazine had the following headline Shock: Men and Women are Actually Born Different.\" When I saw that the first time, I was astounded. I cite it often, because I need to ask you a question: What must you think, what must you believe if you come across research that tells you men and women are born different?
You know what the biggest fear among women who age is becoming bag women. They\'re 55, 60, with no relationship and no job, and they worry about it. Look, the dirty little secret is the women listening to me know that this is a very factual assessment of our culture today, and it is very unfair, and it hurts, and it bothers them greatly.
There is no fringe in the Democrat Party. They are all extreme, radical leftists, socialists, neocoms, whatever you want to call \'em.
There is no science in global warming. \"Mr. Limbaugh, that\'s typical of what you! That\'s the most outrageous statement I\'ve ever heard anybody ever make! No science in global warming?\" Do you know how I know there\'s no science in global warming, folks? Because they tell us a \"consensus of scientists\" agrees that X. There is no consensus in science.
Common sense! It\'s nothing more than common sense for the preservation of our culture, the preservation of our country, the preservation and growth of our economy. And yet Jim Acosta and Glenn Thrush - and everybody in the press corps and practically every other Democrat - hears this and the only reaction they have is, \"No compassion! No compassion for the less fortunate! No compassion for the victims of the world!\"
The left\'s propulsion is hate, and they have to have an outlet for the hate. They hate so much. They hate many elements of America. They hate people that don\'t think the way they do. It\'s not just that they disagree, they hate, and this energy requires action. People on the right, they don\'t hate anybody. We want everybody to get along, when you get right down to it. We\'re Rodney King types, actually.
As far as feminism is concerned ... the problem in the world is men, and they, in their natural state, are essentially incompatible. They must be tamed. They must be tempered, \'cause men are naturally brutes. They fight. They sweat. They expel gas. They\'re dirty. They get into fights. Ewww! And we\'ve got to somehow reprogram all of that out, because otherwise women will be in constant peril.
