Putin did not head the KGB, never has. Putin was a mid-level nobody there. Putin was one of those guys in the KGB who was a climber. He was forever hoping, climbing that ladder, trying to get to the head spot.
Henry Blodget says, \"It is not clear what, if any, power and influence [Steven Lerner] currently wields. His main message - that Wall Street won the financial crisis, that inequality in this country is hitting record levels, and that there appears to be no other way to stop the trend - will almost certainly resonate.\"
There hasn\'t been a military force like the United States of America in the history of the world.
It\'s just the banks who are the latest target of the American socialist left. There is a war on the entirety of the private sector. It is the private sector that employs most of you, that services most of you, that creates the economic prosperity that our nation has enjoyed - and there is a war on that private sector, and it\'s being waged from the Oval Office, and its foot soldiers are on Wall Street and in other cities around the country.
When [Steven Lerner] says that unions and so forth are \"dead,\" he\'s talking about clout. He\'s talking about power. But \"community organizations,\" the ACORN types, these are the groups that can successfully organize a strike - a strike meaning people just stop paying back on their loans.
America is a nation that is founded on the principle of religious freedom. That is the reason this country exists.
The Washington Post is quickly trying to become the safe space for Donald Trump deniers, for the Trump-won-the-election deniers. I think the Washington Post is establishing itself as the safe space for anti-Trump delicate snowflakes to go.
The Senate, compared to the House, is where things are supposed to slow down, by design, Founding Father design. The Founding Fathers were hell-bent to stop government action. The Constitution limited government. And that\'s why people like Obama and Democrats call it a charter of negative liberties because it limits government. It\'s an anti-government, pro-citizen document. And the founders wanted to make it hard.
If we don\'t like a radio or TV show, we turn it off. If the left don\'t like it, they try to shut it down.
[Steven] Lerner\'s plan starts by attacking JP Morgan Chase with demonstrations on Wall Street, protests at the annual shareholder meeting, and then calls for a coordinated mortgage strike.
The way the left is reacting to the death of Fidel Castro up against the incontrovertible facts of who he was, you want to talk about a disconnect. In fact, I don\'t think it is a disconnect. I think the left, the power brokers, the leaders, I think they actually did admire the guy. I think this is what they think Castro\'s power - I\'ve always said, the people have asked me, how do these actors and people and these leftist politicians, how come they admire people like this? I said, \"They envy their power.\" And I think there may be a lot to that.
Nobody ever leaves the KGB, by the way. Once you\'re there, no matter what you say you\'ve done next, nobody ever leaves the KGB.
I have made you - along with Fox News has made you - think Obama is something that he isn\'t. And it\'s such a shame. I have so distorted who the real Obama is in your mind, that it is paralyzing our government. It is paralyzing the Speaker of the House, who really, really, really, really wants to go in there and really, really work with Obama, but he just can\'t. It\'s hard for people like Boehner to move too far in my direction because of the misperception of me, Obama says, created by Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.
There\'s a good reason for the media hating me. And once I came to grips with that fact, that there\'s a reason they should hate me, then it makes sense. One of the toughest things I had to do was learn to psychologically accept the fact that being hated was a sign of success.
Most people aren\'t raised to be hated. We\'re all raised to be loved. We want to be loved. We\'re told to do things to be loved and appreciated and liked. We\'re raised, don\'t offend anybody, be nice. Everybody wants total acceptance. Everybody wants respect. Everybody wants to be loved, and so when you learn that what you do is going to engender hatred you have to learn to accept that as a sign of success.
I do not believe that Obama is smarter than anybody else. I do not believe he has cut a new path and is a politician unlike any we\'ve ever seen regarding his intellect. I don\'t believe any of this hocus-pocus. I didn\'t believe it when they said it about Hillary Clinton, Smartest Woman in the World.
If you want what happens in the US, it can happen where you are, too.
I\'m just saying, there may be ways unlocking this deadlock here in the way the media covers people, Republicans and Democrats, and there may be a way for Republican to change it around. Trump may be showing how it\'s done, but I run great risks in saying that.
The left think that America is a special place, but not because of anything the people here did to make it special. It just happens to be. And the people who were here are here simply by winning life\'s lottery. It\'s all fate; it\'s all luck. And if anybody else in the world wants to come to this one special place, then nobody has the right to tell them they can\'t because we are all immigrants.
Diversity means, when the left teaches it, the people responsible for building America and maintaining it get the short end of the stick from now on. With this singular American culture that people came and wanted to be part of, they were proud, couldn\'t wait to become Americans, tears in their eyes when it happened. It was a special place. Defending it now, defending that America, defending our cultural, defending our founding, defending all of the things that made this country great is now called racism or xenophobia or hate.
The media tries to destroy Republicans who make little faux pas and they start telling everybody how dumb and stupid or uncaring they are. They\'re so self-absorbed, so selfish and so forth. With Obama, it\'s always, \"There\'s nothing to see here, because he\'s a dream of a guy to begin with\" and all that. \"He missed the Gulf of Mexico? So what! He thinks there are 57 states? Big deal! At least he\'s trying; at least he cares,\" is the way it goes.
If you really love people, you say you really love people, really care about people, want the best for people, well, America is the best place. Instead of coming here and destroying it, why not copy it, replicate it?
The point is, folks, for people on the left - and I don\'t care what kind of clothes they wear, or where they live, people on the left, America is guilty. And there is not a set of facts in the world that\'s gonna change it. There\'s not a set of facts in the world that\'s gonna change anybody\'s mind.
Hillary [Clinton] doesn\'t have a fascinating story to get behind. She doesn\'t fascinating story to tell. The only thing about Hillary is, you know, \"first female president.\"
Most of Trump\'s support is not the conservative base. It\'s all over the spectrum. He\'s got support from women, Hispanics, blue-collar Democrats, the old Reagan Democrats. The demographic support that Trump has is what the Republican Party claims it wants. Meanwhile, the Republican Party is running around saying they want to win the nomination without the conservative base, without the pro-lifers, without the social issues crowd. Well, that\'s Trump.
I mean, the Ace of Spades example that Jonah Goldberg remembered here (and that made me remember it, too), is that Chris Matthews interview with [Barack] Obama, during the run-up to Obamacare. Not one question about it. And when you stop and think, there never is for the Democrat. The media never questions the substance of anything the Democrats do.
I wanted to be a success in radio. There was no way it was ever gonna happen if I stayed where I was born. It was not possible. Nothing against where I was born. Nothing against the people there. It just wasn\'t possible.
Trump did more interviews, he explained his agenda more than any political presidential candidate ever has, in my memory, and he has tried to stick to it as people perceive it.
Yeah, that\'ll excite the media, what role will Bill [Clinton] have, versus the [Donald] Trump story. But in all of this, the key to remember is that we\'re not talking about media.
Folks, let me ask you a question about that. You voted in 2010, 2014. You\'re part of the Tea Party and you show up and you just vote. Republicans said they needed the House, and you gave it to \'em; then they said they needed the Senate, and you gave it to \'em. Do you feel like winners even after those two elections? Probably not, because you really didn\'t think the Republican Party was going to change their stripes and start acting on all this.
