Compare and contrast: Donald Trump is going out thanking the voters who supported him. You look at his cabinet picks. They are not donors. These three military guys are not being chosen because they\'re being paid back for donating to Trump. He\'s picking them because they\'re the best. And what\'s Hillary Clinton doing? She is thanking the money people. She\'s not thanking supporters. She\'s not thanking people who believed in her for her ideas and substance and her personally.
If you listen to Hillary 30 years ago and Hillary today, she\'s still complaining about the same things. She\'s still promising to fix the same things. She\'s still suggesting we need to address the same things. It tells me that in 30 years, she has not solved anything. In 30 years, she hasn\'t fixed anything. In 30 years, she hasn\'t made anything better.
There are too many Republicans that believe it, too. And is it any wonder that they have acted on occasion like defeated, hopeless waifs? I mean, they read and absorb everything the Drive-By Media says, and they believe it, too. And of course the Drive-By Media is routinely making fun of them and talking how hopeless they are and what a distant minority they are - and to be shocked and stunned by this, you wonder if any lessons have been learned.
The problem is that everybody, everybody - Donald Trump, Paul Ryan, everybody - on the Republican side said they can\'t do tax reform until Obamacare is improved, they can\'t do it. I think a lot is known about Obamacare. I think that\'s why it\'s so consistently polls with people opposed to it. I think people know how much it\'s cost particularly to people that have entered the exchanges, but I think everybody does. there\'s not a person in the world in this country who is not aware of the oppressive, out of any scope of normalcy costs and prices associated with it.
There are now more Millennial women with college degrees than Millennial men. I said to the audience, \"Folks, you gotta stop looking at this men-versus-women thing as a \'versus,\' as a comparison, as a getting even.\" That\'s not a good bit of news. I\'m a chauvinist. How could I dare think that it\'s a bad thing that more Millennial women have college degrees? And there are answers to it but I\'m not prepared to give \'em yet.
There\'s a lot of people that don\'t understand liberalism, there are a lot of people that I think, by definition, still need to be informed and educated that it isn\'t the soft, loving, compassionate stuff that it\'s portrayed to be. Trump speaks for himself. Who Trump is and what he\'s doing is not a mystery to anybody. It\'s the exact opposite of a mystery. It\'s in your face.
The executive orders. Barack Obama is doing it again with this ban that he thinks is in perpetuity on offshore drilling in the Atlantic Ocean and north of Alaska. It\'s bad what Obama\'s trying to do, and I know exactly what he is doing with this. But the first thing is, the areas that Obama has, by executive order, declared off-limits are areas nobody wants to drill in anyway. There are no plans to drill off the coast, the East Coast of the country out in the Atlantic, and there are no plans to drill north of Alaska in the Arctic Circle.
There were people who voted for Obama simply because he was the first African-American. We had a lot of people that would not have voted for Obama but who did because they really hoped that the nation, making the statement electing an African-American president, would prove once and for all that this is not a racist nation. I believe that there were all kinds of people that voted for Obama with that hope. That was the reason. Everything else was irrelevant to them.
I don\'t think there\'s any difference in the two Donald Trumps. Maybe I didn\'t make this clear. I don\'t think Trump\'s different in Washington than he is there. The difference is you don\'t have anybody tweeting. The Trump in Washington compared to the Trump in Middle east trip, what\'s the difference? The Trump in Washington is filtered by the media.
It is true that the Drive-By Media is not spending a lot of time covering the Donald Trump Middle East trip. The reason is, they don\'t want to write or televise any of this because it\'s in such stark contrast to the pictures they\'ve been painting of Trump. It\'s so incongruent. It\'s so inconsistent. In addition to all else, it is the protection of the Barack Obama legacy.
The Democrat Party and the media - primarily, the media - has created a genuine insane asylum that is the Democrat Party base. The Democrat Party base believes that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians. The Democrat Party base believes that the Russians stole election from Hillary. They believe it because that\'s what they\'ve been told solidly for nine months. They believe it. They have been driven insane.
I\'m aware of everything - it\'s my job - I keep up to speed, and I have a blessed memory. The brain chemistry I have is such that my memory is wonderful. And sometimes it\'s helpful, and other times it ends up being frustrating.
It still boils down to one thing: The left cannot beat Fox News in the arena of cable news. The media, the left cannot beat Fox News. The only option they have is to destroy it. Because they can\'t outcompete it as is evidenced by ratings day in and day out since 1996, when Fox debuted. The standard operating procedure for the left is not to level the playing field but to close it. It\'s to deny participation on the playing field, not level it. No tolerance. No fairness.
If there are no victims in the U.S, then there no need to redistribute wealth. Right? So that needs to be repealed. If there are no victims, there\'s no need to confer legal status on 1.2 million illegal immigrants. If there are no victims, then the entire justification for liberalism ceases to exist. This is how far Barack Obama is willing to go. Nobody else but me is gonna think of this, but he\'s undercutting his own philosophical beliefs in order to put words in Mitt Romney\'s mouth.
Mitch McConnell further said he was kind of surprised that a rich guy like Donald Trump could be elected! Yeah, it\'s bad enough that the Democrats believe their own media, the Drive-By Media.
The left and the media hope Trump is doing a Nixon in the White House. They wish he\'s in the corner with an adult beverage at night talking to himself because of all the misery and all the hatred. They think he desperately wants to be loved and he\'s figuring out that he\'s hated. But that is so far from the truth. Trump is reveling in it and enjoying it. I think Trump was fully aware that this was going to happen.
A vast majority of the geographical area of the country would have been ignored during the campaign, and so the results would have been different. Who\'s to say Donald Trump would not have done better in California if he\'d spent some time out there? And who\'s to say that Hillary Clinton would have done worse if she\'d spent some time out there and actually had been seen by people in California like she was seen elsewhere as having questionable stamina.
The word \"concluded\" is a trick word. It\'s designed to attach authority and ontological certitude to whatever follows, when it\'s just another way of stating what somebody thinks.
I\'m already a big enough target. I\'m already more famous than most people should ever hope to be, and, as such, that has a direct effect on the size of the target that is on me. And you always do what you can to reduce the size of the target while not reducing your presence.
There are many people in athletics who only know losing. Their team never wins they only know losing and therefore nobody on their team really understands - they\'re all trying to win, but it\'s a few who know how. And Donald Trump is one. He does know how to win.
Hillary Clinton is doing a thank-you for the money, largely because she wants them to continue giving it to her. Make no mistake about that. And that is almost the difference in the two campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, in a nutshell. It\'s a stark contrast.
The Democrats can\'t come to grips with the fact that they have been not just defeated, they\'ve been rejected, what they stand for and what they did. And their fingerprints alone with on these things: Obamacare, that stimulus. That\'s why this is a very risky thing for Donald Trump, this stimulus that he wants to do, but we\'ll get into that just a second here.
I never really knew what it meant, to win, until one day I was flying on the Phoenix Suns airplane, the team plane, on the way to Chicago. I was talking to Danny Ainge on this flight, and he was talking about the concept of knowing how to win. And so he proceeded to give me from his perspective as an athlete, and now he\'s a coach, what the whole concept of knowing how to win is, and he said part of it is rooted in experience, the experience of winning, but it\'s attitudinal, it\'s the belief that you should, it\'s the belief that you can, it\'s the belief.
There is an ongoing effort to replace Donald Trump, to get him out of office. The media may not be leading it, but they are complicit in it. The media doesn\'t like Donald Trump and is doing what they can to undermine his presidency. They\'re doing what they can to discredit him.
You talk about sexual abuse? Bill Clinton\'s wife ran the bimbo eruptions units when he was in the White House to seek and find the women who might accuse Bill Clinton of sexual abuse (and other things) and destroy them. And advertisers never leave the Clintons, and donors never leave the Clintons. Why is that? Because donors and advertisers never receive massive numbers of complaint emails from all of these Twitter and Facebook bots.
This is the thing that forever frustrated me about Obama: Not recognizing American exceptionalism. We are the beacon of freedom and liberty. If we don\'t stand for it, it isn\'t gonna survive anywhere else because it\'s never existed in the world like it does here.
The world has never known the freedom and liberty it did until the United States some 230 years ago - and if that light is extinguished, then it\'s over for the resolute world as well. There\'s nowhere else. That has been a tenet of American foreign policy from the beginning, the recognition of liberty and freedom as essential to the human condition as created by God.
Since Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, why are they complaining about the Russians hacking the election? I mean, Hillary wins the popular vote, what more can a hacker do than get you the majority of the popular vote? But yet they\'re running around complaining about the hackers and they\'re blaming the Russians for stealing the election.
Saudi Arabia stammering worldwide terrorism! Yeah, but Donald Trump went there and tackled it. You compare this to Barack Obama\'s mindless twaddling, whatever it was, the Cairo speech that no can still tell you what he said. The contrast is striking to me.
James Comey is gonna single-handedly get Donald Trump impeached. They can\'t wait. They\'re all beside themselves. They\'ve got more leaks. Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus left Saudi Arabia, came back to the United States. The media says that\'s because they did something to make Trump mad, they\'re soon to be fired, both laid off, it\'s gotta happen, too much chaos. The administration says no, they were scheduled to come back after the big meetings that were in Riyadh, nothing to see here.
