This is what the Democrats are fighting for. They\'re fighting for you not to have a job and still have health care so you can pursue your entrepreneurial risk of writing, painting, taking pictures. It\'s just such a pain in the rear end to have to have a job. It\'s so damn mean of this country to require people to have a job. It stifles people. It stifles creativity and economic growth to require people to have a job, to have health care. What a country. Man, are we horribly rotten mean to people.
You ever want to know what consensus and groupthink and conventional wisdom in Washington is, just find what David \"Rodham\" Gergen is saying and you\'ll find out what 99% of \'em are thinking.
I mean, voters had that kind of faith in Barack Obama and they had that kind of faith in Bill Clinton, but people having it in Donald Trump, since they think Trump is a bumpkin to begin with, that anybody who has blind faith in Trump\'s got to be an even bigger bumpkin.
Republicans are being loyal to their donors. They\'re being loyal to the paymasters, if you will. And it\'s squandering an opportunity.
Heidi Cullen had said that all of these local and cable weather forecasters who have been certified by the AMS, the American Meteorological Society, should be decertified if they refuse to accept the proven science of man-made global warming. There are numerous credible scientists, who have not been convinced that this is anything other than sunspot activity or normal cycles that the earth has gone through for billions and billions and billions and billions of years. Science can\'t prove man-made global warming, they simply can\'t, so they come up with this notion of consensus.
Have you seen this inane support from CNN extolling Hillary Clinton\'s breathing talents; that she has this unique ability to breathe through one nostril at a time? It\'s obviously she\'s got some problems.
When we get this health care done, America, we\'re going to be able to have regulations on how heavy you can be. And we\'re going to be able to set up various tax penalties, for example, if you weigh more than we think you should or we just may not let you get on that airplane because your carbon footprint, you\'re gonna waste so much jet fuel, we may not let you get on that bus, we may not let you drive your car, we may not build a bigger doorway for you to get through, may not give you a bigger toilet.\'
I\'ll bet you there are a lot of Donald Trump people out there who say, \"If he has to work with Democrats to get what he wants done, then so be it. Even when Trump did the first deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi on expanding the debt limit - and he talked about extending the debt limit forever \'cause it was such a good thing, Trump did.\" I had people saying, \"You know what? I love it!\" I\'m talking about rock-ribbed, lifetime Republicans who said to me, \"I love Trump sticking it to Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, but I not sure I like it being done this way.\"
I mean, I don\'t care what Drive-Bys write about local issues and all that. But I\'m talking about this kind of stuff, national issues of great importance. I do not believe.
Look, folks, everybody knows we\'re not gonna kick these DREAMers out of the country. I know that a lot of people think that we should have no mercy here on... \"Mercy\" is the wrong word. That, if we\'re gonna have border security, we\'re gonna have border security. If you\'re illegal and you\'re here illegally, you gotta go back and try to get in legally. I understand that.
Who are we talking about? We\'re talking about the people that are trying to criminalize Donald Trump. We\'re talking about the people that are trying to impeach him. We\'re talking about people who are trying to via innuendo and leak and media assassination, we\'re dealing with people that are trying to destroy Donald Trump and his press secretary just signaled that they are serious about reaching out to these people to try to get certain things done, legislatively, like infrastructure or tax reform.
The ticket out of the Depression was an education, a college degree. It really didn\'t matter if you knew anything. You just had to have the degree. My dad, up until the last two years of his life, thought he had failed miserably with me \'cause I didn\'t go to college. I mean, you\'ve seen postgame interviews with the star of the game and the players always talk about how proud his parents are because he\'s the first guy in his family ever to attend college. I\'m the first in my family not to! I\'m the first of my family not to have a degree. It\'s thrown everybody for a loop.
Democrats are fighting for people to be able to quit work while the rest of us pay for their health care while they go out and be artists and photographers and tend to bipolar kids with asthma or what have you, and we\'re going to pay for this.
John F. Kennedy loved America. He was proud to be an American. And you\'d call that politician JFK. That\'s who he was. He was not in any way a liberal as you know liberals today.
Skepticism requires disbelief and curiosity, not conformity to conventional wisdom. There\'s no science here. This is pure politics.
Both parties want it now. They want comprehensive immigration reform, and they want open borders.
The whole point of getting control of health is to regulate everybody\'s life and look at how they decide now whether somebody should get treated or not: age, how sick are you, how much it\'s going to cost to invest in your recovery and are you going to recover. And when the government is in charge of making those decisions and not you and your doctor.
They didn\'t want Donald Trump to win. They didn\'t think he was gonna win. They never thought they would be in this position. They may not even like being in this position because they don\'t want this kind of pressure on \'em. They don\'t want to have to move his agenda. The Republicans in Washington are identical with the Democrats when it comes to the big issue, and that\'s immigration. Both parties want amnesty.
The Democrats stand to lose even more seats in the Senate. It\'s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It\'s certainly a once-in-a-generation opportunity to fix everything that has been on our minds for 30 years. It\'s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it\'s not being utilized - and it isn\'t being utilized, sadly, because the perception is that it\'s House and Senate Republicans that are refusing to work with Donald Trump, that they\'re embarrassed of him, that they don\'t want Trump to become the definition of a Republican.
Global warming people ignore nature; they ignore water vapor; they ignore sunspot cycles and sun activity. It\'s typical liberal guilt and politics wanting to blame western societies and lifestyles for causing all these problems because it leads to government and United Nations solutions, and that\'s where liberals like power vested. And of course when people come along and don\'t agree, they gotta be shut up.
Congressman Steve King believed what Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi were saying, that Donald Trump had a agreed to a deal on the DREAMers and had gotten nothing on getting rid of the wall for it, and the wall was not part of the deal. He wasn\'t the only one. David \"Rodham\" Gergen, who is the definition of Washington conventional wisdom.
Since the Drive-Bys are involved, I\'m sorry, folks, I just never, ever do I accept anything, I don\'t care what. If it\'s football, if it\'s the space program, if it\'s anything, I automatically do not believe it.
Donald Trump had probably the biggest mandate to do things of any recent president because of the specifics of his agenda and his campaign. So many times a day he announced what he was gonna do. So he was elected, he won; therefore, he\'s got a mandate. And his party is not assisting and not helping, and they\'re even violating promises they made for seven years on the repeal and replace Obamacare.
Just to clarify James Damore, Google, what he was saying is the gender gap in tech industries is because women are treated differently because they\'re not as technically inclined, and that\'s what got him fired, and everybody at Google had a conniption fit over it.
The Democrats are having all kinds of problems uniting people here, and Barack Obama is the lead unifier, and it ain\'t going to happen.
Have you noticed that every one of these candidates for Presidency say: \"Barack Obama\'s weak, Vladimir Putin\'s kicking sand in his face. When I talk to Putin, he\'s gonna straighten out. Just looking at him I\'m gonna - he\'s gonna be - \" and then it turns out they can\'t handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at a debate. I don\'t think the Chinese and the Russians are gonna be too worried about you.
I love this. \"Of course I trust the president.\" Two days ago, Nancy Pelosi hated Donald Trump! She\'s out there saying the most despicable, horrible things in the world about the guy. She trusts him now, and I\'m sure you Trumpists think that\'s \'cause Trump is so clever and he makes everybody like him.
I collect cigars. I love giving \'em away to people that really enjoy \'em, and I could think of no better place than West Point!
Apparently there are not a whole lot of people there that have confidence. They are willing, apparently, to believe that Donald Trump\'s been lying to \'em all along, while, if you want to characterize it this way, how many years have they been lying to voters about their intentions on repealing and replacing Obamacare?
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing with the same result over and over again, expecting something different. The left just spent how many months trying to destroy Donald Trump, trying to impugn Donald Trump with every weapon they had, with every trick in their book, every tactic that has been successfully used by the media to destroy Republican candidates over the years. It\'s in their playbook. They brought it all out. Every bit of it blew up in their face; all of it failed. And yet they continue with the same tried and true and worn-out techniques to discredit Trump.
