Think of the Republican Party as the opposition to the Democrats. It doesn\'t exist in California!
We\'re in more wars today under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton than under George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan. Yet they tell you that Bush lied and people died, and we were all over the Middle East.
Hillary Clinton has a miracle disease, a miracle strain of pneumonia that doesn\'t hurt her or anybody else. The problem is, nobody\'s ever heard of it.
I deal with what \"is,\" not with what I wish was or not with what was or used to be.
I don\'t want to get depressed, I don\'t want to get down in the dumps, and I don\'t want to get teased with the idea that everything\'s rigged and everything\'s fake.
That happens to a lot of couples. I understand the black history in this country, and regret it, I wish it hadn\'t happened. See, I also know that it hasn\'t happened to African-Americans alive today. There isn\'t one African-American alive today who\'s treated as three-fifths of a person like it was in the past.
Getting a lot of applause, announcing military reforms and upgrades. It\'s a really good speech [of Donald Trump].
There are mean people out there, and they\'re cruel, they\'re bullies to all kinds of people. Some are based in race; some are based in the way other people look; some of it\'s politically based. But there\'s all kinds of it. Everybody goes through life being tormented at times by something. Something as simple as just going through four years of high school can ruin somebody\'s confidence, just because of things that happened there. The key to it all is being taught how to deal with it and how to not let it mar your own opinion of yourself.
We had 600 ships, a 600 ship Navy under [Ronald] Reagan. We\'re down to 200 now [in 2016].
You don\'t need to worry about Donald Trump and nuclear weapons. You need to worry about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. They have authorized nuclear weapons for Iran.
Popularity is not the single determining factor, as we all know, in how people vote.
Speaking of [Colin] Kaepernick, did you see what [Barack] Obama said about Kaepernick? I mean this was the biggest dodge I have ever seen. This may have been the most vacuous or empty statement on anything, because Obama clearly wanted to agree with Kaepernick but couldn\'t.
What is happening to Donald Trump in terms of the way he\'s being reported on and cast with the media is the way every Republican presidential candidate has been treated in my life.
I don\'t believe, folks, that the media people you see on TV every day from NPR to CBS to ABC to NBC to wherever are ever gonna admit they\'re irrelevant, and they\'re not gonna start acting like it, and they\'re never gonna say, \"Gee, you know what? We might have to alter the way we\'re -\" It isn\'t gonna happen, even if it means the end of them.
When the Democrat Party lost to Ronald Reagan in two landslides, it was the American people\'s fault. It was Reagan\'s fault.
If you want to find out what the future of the Republican Party is if Hillary Clinton wins, take a look at California.
People feel the deck is being totally stacked against them, and the Democrats have various things in their playbook to go after opponents; taxes is one of them.
I know the drill. [Republicans] say Donald Trump is not a Republican. They say he\'s a Trojan horse or he\'s unacceptable or he\'s uncouth or whatever they say.
The media does not act like they ever lose. If Trump wins, their attitude is gonna be, \"Well, it\'s just gonna take us a little longer to destroy him.\" And they will continue to try to destroy Trump. And they will do it by finding Democrats who think that he deserves to be impeached.
[Donald] Trump\'s establishing his bona fides on military preparedness. No histrionics, just the facts.
We keep hearing how 'qualified' Hillary Clinton is to be president. I think it's kind of like if somebody has to deny they're a prostitute, then there must be some doubt about it.
Republican politicians are contributed to heavily by climate change, global warming, environmentalist wackos. That\'s how they\'re brought on board with this, and that\'s why an outsider like Trump is so appealing to so many people.
After so many years now, it\'s just suspected by most people that there simply is no way to change the direction Washington\'s going or the country\'s going or to do anything about that small group of establishment elitists in both parties that end up running things for themselves.
That\'s my point: What\'s she [Hillary Clinton] got to show for her 30 years around town? Right on!
Hillary Clinton does not have to worry about the sirens and the gunshots night. She doesn\'t worry about it. She\'s sleeping. She\'s sleeping.
What bothers me is that I don\'t see the eagerness for a genuine solution to the political people on the opposite side. They want to continue to use the grievance, to use whatever happened hundreds of years ago that did not even happen to them, as a way of expressing how this country is failing or is less than decent and good.
Whatever I believe here and whatever you think I\'m advocating, it\'s not because I care what happens to the Republican Party. I care about what happens to America!
Hillary Clinton doesn\'t command the screen. She doesn\'t look intimidating, inviting, engaging.
Donald Trump in Philadelphia, and he\'s delivering a very substantive speech on military preparedness, the status of the current military. He detailed the deterioration of the U.S. military in the past eight years and explained how he\'s going to rebuild it and why we need to, and it\'s a very tough audience. It\'s an expressly military audience, and they are of course listening for any sign that he\'s not really genuine here. I think, knocking this out of the park as far as that audience is concerned.
How does conservatism find its way into the body politic? I think most people actually live their lives that way, but they have been poisoned into not voting that way because the brand - conservatism brand, Republican brand - has been summarily destroyed over the years.
