We worked under a lot of pressure... three days to do an episode, sometimes two in a week, 39 episodes a year. (Edward VIII )
I have been in the series for over 3 years - 3 series. There will be a fourth series next year which of course I won't be in because I'm now dead. So in total I appeared in 25 episodes. (Edward VIII )
There have been a couple of jobs I've done without thinking, without being engaged, and they just stink. (Edward VIII )
I get offered a lot of science fiction work and there is a new project in the pipeline called Master Race, set in World War II, but that's a little way off yet. (Edward VIII )
It's nice because working in England I'm know for working in television and theater when you get a chance to come out, it is quite fun to be out from behind the mask. You need to let people know who you are. (Edward VIII )
I want to do theater and I am looking forward to doing more Television and Movies. I also want to direct some plays in theater workshops for people with disabilities. (Edward VIII )
I knew early on after the first couple episodes were fully scored and animated that we had a real quality show here. But I always questioned whether or not it would work. (Edward VIII )
I mean, that's another big surprise of the show, is that I see sixteen year old people who recognize me and they're honest, for-real fans of the show. And it goes down to nine months. I mean, I've heard of nine month to year-old children who are watching the show. (Edward VIII )
I'm not supposed to talk about the snail. The snail is, well, congratulations to whoever noticed it. It's supposed to be a thing where you gotta look for it in every episode, and it's there three times in every episode. (Edward VIII )
It's definitely the highest rated pre-school show on Cable. It's difficult to mix markets that way in terms of ratings. It's hard to tell, you know, where channel 12, or Public Television, is. (Edward VIII )
It's really hard to say how long the show will last and will continue. I hope it lasts for a very long time. As long as kids watch it, anyway. But beyond this, sure, I would love to be doing film. I'd love to be doing more theater and perhaps even writing. (Edward VIII )
The idea of the show is that it's active and that children will become involved and watch the show, but also participate in the show. And I didn't know if that would work. (Edward VIII )
We go through, I think, six different drafts of each script. And then my shooting it is roughly, you know, fifteen percent of the total work that gets done on a show. Then it's all post-production animation after that. (Edward VIII )
Well, my aspirations certainly were not to be in a pre-school show. I mean, it's certainly nothing that I considered; it's nothing I ever thought anyone would ever let me do. (Edward VIII )
Bleak House is just the most astounding piece of work. There's huge, visionary poetry in it. (Edward VIII )
I'm just happy to be working consistently. (Edward VIII )
Showtime has given new, young filmmakers - black, white, across the board - an opportunity to make films, as well as actors who want to cross over into directing. (Edward VIII )
Some people make a career out of doing one thing, but I wanted to diversify my body of work. (Edward VIII )
There are a lot of people in this business that don't work consistently. (Edward VIII )
To me the work is so much more interesting, the parts that don't require you just to take your shirt off. (Edward VIII )
I like working as a director most. (Edward VIII )
