I don't have to come back, because I am still here! And I'm not an '80s thing. I already worked with my first band back in East Germany and that was soooo '70s, young man. I'm a '70s thing. If I'm a thing at all... and an exciting thing. (Edward VIII )
I have many, many projects. (Edward VIII )
I just came from Greece and from Spain and I wanted to look more Greek and more Spanish because we just shot a video down there. (Edward VIII )
I meet many people, I talk with them, like a TV show host. I show what's going on with Greenpeace, interesing political things, I have artists, musicians and bands. (Edward VIII )

I don't want to be daft and say I had some spiritual awakening or something, but I really did come of age in Los Angeles, where we recorded the album. I had my own little house and my own little circle and I really got to feel how the city ticks. (Edward VIII )
I love being onstage and I love to perform. To be honest with you, I'm more comfortable performing than I am in an everyday situation, which I can't quite explain. (Edward VIII )
I wouldn't say I worked with these people because I was looking for a particular vocal sound. I worked with them because I loved what they had done before-and because they really wanted to work with me. (Edward VIII )
It's really hard to accept the knowledge that I am a role model. It was something we had to think about, and we don't take it lightly. Young people do listen to us and are influenced by us. But then again, I don't want to compromise who I am, because that's a girl-power message. (Edward VIII )
My new album enjoyed some of the best reviews I've ever had and the live reviews have been great too. So I'm very happy,. I think that it's got my strongest collection of songs. Northern Star, my first record, was a very special album to me but I just think that this one is stronger. (Edward VIII )
Putting out my album on my own label has been a great experience for me. It's been very inspiring. It's like a new start for me and having all this creative freedom is so liberating and exciting. (Edward VIII )
The funny thing about making this record and being away from the girls and on my own in LA is that it allowed me to reflect on how much we've accomplished. (Edward VIII )
The success of this album is very much in question. Who knows where it's going to go? My being a Spice Girl is no guarantee of anything, although I hope it'll benefit the sales. (Edward VIII )
We were in the same band, but we're two completely different people. People have asked me to make comparisons with our albums, and I can't, because there's no comparison. Her album's okay. I don't think she's the best singer on Earth, but she's okay. (Edward VIII )
I've spent so much time working. (Edward VIII )
I'm anal retentive. I'm a workaholic. I have insomnia. And I'm a control freak. That's why I'm not married. Who could stand me? (Edward VIII )
I wanted a record with no ballads, ... I wanted there to be no breaks, with one song segueing into the next -- just like in a disco. (Edward VIII )
When I'm up on stage, I don't think about anything except the song I'm singing. Anyway, the majority of my audience is female, and I can't think that many of them want to see me a French maid outfit somehow! (Edward VIII )
On the last tour, I remember being in London and listening to their last album, ... I enjoyed it very much and for Teddy to ask me to do this is a true honor, really an honor. (Edward VIII )
Touring is very grueling. It's very taxing on the body and living out of your suitcase, going from city to city, night after night. It's a tough job. (Edward VIII )
I didn't even play the first album to the record company-I did 13 tracks. Too many cooks spoil the broth. This time I've listened to people from the record company out of courtesy. (Edward VIII )
I didn't want to leave the Spice Girls and immediately have a record on the back of that fame, so I waited to find out who I am and what I want. (Edward VIII )
I want to come back with a bang. I've been licking my wounds. I've been in mourning after the Spice Girls, re-evaluating myself. (Edward VIII )
But as a writer and performer, I want to get paid for what I do. (Edward VIII )
Capote wrote every day. He said that's the only way, you have to sit down every day and do it. (Edward VIII )
I always say the new album is the best one yet. I always feel that - I really do, because it's the latest and it's the newest and it's a little bit better. (Edward VIII )
