They believed you can't mix rock, country, and rap, and that crossover is dead. I always knew it would work. And it will always work as long as you're really into it and like what you're doing. (Tom Kiana)
Well, I was into music since I was a kid, ya know, back in Detroit. I say Detroit, but it was really a little suburb outside the city called Romeo. (Tom Kiana)
And they kind of left to find a guitar player at the very end, so you know, I don't really take it as any slight that I wasn't able to play on the record. It's flattering just to play with them period. (Tom Kiana)

Well, we didn't have our original drummer on our last record. And most of that album was not played as a band in the studio. It was mostly the world of computers and overdubs. There was very few things played live or worked out as a band. (Tom Kiana)
“Definitely a scenario of musical chairs. Anybody who's the last guy sitting can be champ that day.” (Tom Kiana)

“Led Zeppelin album without the pleasure principle.” (Tom Kiana)
“But what was my motivation was music, and the fact that I love to move around. I'm always moving around.” (Tom Kiana)
“As soon as I hear music, something in me starts to vibrate.” (Tom Kiana)
