But I did have two months off between Loser and the start of Prozac Nation. So, it was supposed to be Jason time, right? My time to enjoy myself away from movies. (Allard J)
In order for American Pie to have worked, you have to have a character who, even while he is humping a pie, the audience still likes. (Allard J)
Of course you can't help but be bothered when a film fails, but not to the point where I really let it get to me. (Allard J)
Then I did American Pie, and I think the extra poundage worked for that character. (Allard J)

We all had our reservations about possibly overdoing it but, you know, the script was great. Basically it stuck to the formula that worked for the first two movies, and for that reason I think this works as well. (Allard J)
Well, I'm proud to say American Pie was the kind of crazy, gross-out film that guys thought was the greatest. (Allard J)
All of a sudden Kevin told me that the movie got bought and was gonna be shown in a movie theatre. I was shocked. I was psyched. It was just weird. (Allard J)
But, yeah, I'd love to do something else in someone else's movie. (Allard J)
I definitely would like to do something serious. Not like a love story, but serious like maybe a gangster or a mobster. A gang or a mob movie would be great. (Allard J)
I showed my mom the movie then I told her the movie got bought and that it was gonna be shown in theatres and be on video. Everyone was really psyched about it. Everyone in my little town of hounds started to call me movie star. (Allard J)
I'm in one scene in Vulgar. (Allard J)
I'm more into the Spawn toys. They're really cool. They're coming out with a Techno Spawn series and another series, The Dark Ages, which are really cool. (Allard J)
I'm not a big Star Wars collector, but I like some of the stuff. I collect some. (Allard J)
In Kevin's movies I would like to stay Jay. (Allard J)
In Mallrats, you pretty much don't see him sell any weed, really. I don't consider him a big dealer. (Allard J)
It was cool to do someone else's movie. It was a lot of fun. (Allard J)
On Mallrats, a lot of times they'd have to come find me. I'd be off hanging around. Looking around the stores, hanging out with people. So, he'd have to come find me. (Allard J)
There's a lot of other movies I like, but I don't even pay attention to directors to tell you the truth. (Allard J)
Before Speed 2, I had been offered a lot of action movies. They're all sequels, in my opinion. I did Speed 2 because I was told it was foolproof. (Allard J)
Everybody acts like they're in a movie in most movies. That's why they stink. (Allard J)
I decided the way I want to make movies, and I've been doing it this way since I was 19. There will be certain sacrifices with that, but that's the way I want to do it. (Allard J)
I did not sense excitement on Lions Gate's part. But then the film started to make the rounds of what they call the Bel Air circuit. (Allard J)
I don't find movies interesting. I just want to do the movies that made me interested in getting into movies, and they're few and far between. (Allard J)
I like Animal House. It's a well-made movie for that genre. American Pie is not. (Allard J)
I like guys who are dealing with some kind of primal struggle. I know I've been labeled as playing some dark characters, but I think that's because of the context of the culture in the movies. (Allard J)
